Frijid Pink is a Detroit area blues rock band formed in 1967, best known for their version of "House of the Rising Sun," released in 1969.



Frijid Pink's only Top 10 hit was a cover of "House of the Rising Sun". While not as successful as The Animals version in 1964 (it hit #1 on the Billboard HOT 100), the Detroit rock band's cover peaked at #7 on the pop chart
